HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010

I know it is January 2nd but HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone!!!!! I love making resolutions and will keep most of them because they pertain to scrapping..i won't bore you with them.

I had a great Christmas and got a new camera yup finally got the REBEL with an extra lens..now to figure out how to use it..hehehe it sure is alot of camera..but i am eager to play with it....I do believe though that i will need to get a new tripod for it....my son Jason has a little more knowledge about the camera and is suppose to help me with it...but until then I just plan to shoot pics and hope for the best..it does have auto settings on it so I will use that for now...

My 5 grandchildren had the bestest Christmas ever but then again they say that every year....the older ones got cell phones and I-pods and the younger ones got video games..so all in all it was a very electronic christmas...lol

ALTERED CANVAS---COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS

I am not too much on altering items, but I bought this canvas and decided that maybe this would be something I could try. I decided that I would make it into a COUNTDOWN CHRISTMAS CALENDER for my son & his family. I used the Basic Grey Wassill Collection of papers. As you can see by the photos I put hooks on the bottom so that there would be a place to store the numbers and I used velcro to attach them to the board. I enjoyed doing this project and I am now in the process of making a message board altered canvas for myself...I will share photos of it when it is completed.

WHY???? OH WHY ......

Here it is almost the middle of August and it has been nearly a month since I updated my blog!!!!!!! Can you say BAD BLOGGER? because that is what I am..

I have been scrapping this summer but not finishing any projects that I start. I hate when I do that. On the other hand I have been very good about checking out other blogs...and there are a couple of blogs that you should check out also because they are giving away some great stuff...

I suppose at this time I should show you some of my layouts that I have finished...I wonder if I have finished any of them...Yup here are a three of them....
